We are looking for an experienced Front-End Engineer who can build and provide guidance for much of our front-end architecture, while also being able to understand and contribute to the back-end as needed.
WHAT WE BUILD:
While we are still operating in "stealth mode" within a secretive industry and can't divulge specifics, suffice to say our product is in the realm of digital communications forensics and data visualization. We are also on very strong financial footing, and are already cash flow positive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES for this position include the following:
- Develop complex web applications and user interfaces built on the LEMP stack.
- Lead the development of simple, beautiful, and intuitive features.
- Build cutting edge data visualization interfaces by leveraging the latest best of breed tools to solve complex problems.
- Focus on the front-end, but with enough experience in back-end to understand the ramifications of architectural decisions and work closely with back-end engineers.
- Help guide the development team in overall application technology design activities.
- Identify and define key architectures, components, interfaces, and data model designs.
- Advocate for clean, well-documented, front-end code and follow standards and best practices for front-end development.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Balance multiple priorities, multi-tasking as necessary. Adapt well to changes.
