Technical Product Manager (Dublin, Ireland) at Axway (Ballsbridge, Ireland)

• Product Management is responsible for setting the strategic direction, multi-release roadmap and supported use cases of the product driven by the business objectives. This Requirement Analyst/Technical Product Manager role will primarily focus on supporting the development of the release, working closely with PM and Engineering to ensure the accuracy of the product development.
• Work with PM to periodically build a high level product backlog. The RA/TPM will translate product requirements into prioritized use cases and features.
• Work with Support to triage customer issues and identify potential product enhancements. The RA/TPM will translate customer issues and enhancement requests into prioritized use cases and features.
• Work with User Experience and Engineering to identify potential design and technical improvements to the product. The RA/TPM will translate those improvements into prioritized use cases and features.
• Work with Engineering to periodically groom the product backlog (use cases and features) into detailed requirements that can be implemented by R&D. This will include writing User Stories, defining Acceptance Criteria and coordinating estimation of backlog items. Collaborate with developers, technical leads and quality assurance as the Product Manager proxy, through all phases of development (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment) to ensure a high level of understanding of the requirements and use cases. Participates in all Agile development meetings as the "Product Owner". Validates and accepts the implementation of backlog items coming out of product development iterations.
• Support pre-sales and PSO by answering technical, feature/function "how to" questions and determining if product enhancements are required by understanding the detailed scenario to be implemented.
• Interact with customers - primarily those customers who are hands-on users of the product. Most customer interaction will be via email and telephone conferences, though occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
